Happy Easter!

Happy Wednesday! We had a fun day in 4K today!

When we arrived at school, we discovered that the Easter bunny hid all our baskets. We had to go on a hunt around the room to find our own baskets. What fun!

During circle time, we read the story Five Little Bunnies Hopping on a Hill.

Then we acted out the story using our bunny headbands. It was a lot of fun and the children asked to do it again.

For our large group project, we made a special book. The children are very excited to read it to you tonight and trick you! It involves some hidden eggs. We laughed a lot while making this book today!

Then we played and worked on our social skills.

At snack time, the children were able to get out an egg filled with jellybeans from their Easter baskets. We learned a little color and counting rhyme. The words to the rhyme are in your child's backpack so you can also do it together at home. Of course the children were also offered a healthy snack to go along with their jellybeans.

After snack, we did the egg shaker song for the last time before Easter.

Then we learned the song "Little Bunny Foo Foo." First we listened to the song and learned the actions. Then Miss McCabe shared different versions of the book. We compared the books to each other and the song to find similarities and differences.

Have a wonderful Easter! :)
