The Three Billy Goats Gruff

Happy Tuesday! Today we read the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff. We learned that a baby goat is called a kid. The children were excited to realize that kid starts with our new letter k!

Then we made headbands to go along with the story.

Afterwards, we acted out the story for each other. The children enjoyed crossing the bridge and having the troll jump out at them! There was a lot of laughter! In the morning, the children even got to act out the story outside on the playground.

The children enjoyed playing in the classroom and working on developing their social skills.

During closing circle, the children listened to the story of Gregory, the Terrible Eater. They also read other goat stories by Patricia Polacco.

There will be a substitute teacher in the classroom again tomorrow as we continue to do the next portion of the PALS assessment. Please make sure your child gets a good night's sleep so that he/she can do his/her best work!

Have a great evening! :)
