Your child has some Rub-A-Dub-Dub nursery rhyme activities in his/her folder that you can do together at home!
We visited centers again today. The children visited the two centers that they did not visit today. The centers include making a boat out of clay and counting how many bears it will take to sink the boat, making a name ship to use at closing circle, putting together sailboat concept puzzles, and completing a Rub-A-Dub-Dub nursery rhyme counting activity.
We had a birthday celebration in the afternoon. Happy birthday, Olivia! Thanks for the special treats!
Of course we had to sing the silly color creature song! Then we acted out the song "Six Little Ships" using our stick puppets from centers. It was a lot of fun!
I am so proud of both classes! They have both earned a Class BEAK award for being so quiet in the hallway! When we get 5 awards, we can have a classroom party! Please let your child know how proud you are of him/her for remembering quiet mouths, hands to self, and walking feet in the hallway!
Have a great weekend! :)
